Vision 06:29
Black of the night Light of the moon The oracle waits Darkness takes his sight Eyes roll back Mind implodes Vision comes clear Prophecy of death (Chorus) It cannot be spoken They can never know He knows the secret He knows the truth (Bridge) Beyond the horizon Horrors he can only see Prophecy of death Coming for them all (Interlude) Given a choice To warn his people Instead he chooses To abandon and flee The sound of hooves Distant, drawing closer He makes his escape As the enemy closes in (Bridge) Beyond the horizon Horrors he can only see Prophecy of death Coming for them all (Repeat Verse) (Repeat Chorus)
2.
Unspeakable 05:11
The sounds of hooves Echoing through the night He knows what comes He remembers his debt Arrival on dark horses Come to collect their due None shall be spared None shall be left behind (Chorus) Unspeakable; Hell unfolds; Before their eyes Unthinkable; Dark demise; Heavy toll Unspeakable; Cold dead hands; Death’s icy grip Unthinkable; Forsaken eyes; Watch it burn Lighting the village ablaze Interlopers seek him out Scouring through the wreckage They know he lurks here Promised many things All have been broken None shall be spared None shall be left behind They seek the old man The one with the vision They know where he wallows They know his vile heart Destroy his village Surely he will come forth None shall be spared None shall be left behind (Repeat Chorus)
3.
Craven 06:27
The enemy descends His village is forsaken The veil of night Allows his escape Fleeing through the forest Towards the mountains high This is his only hope The horror will devour (Bridge) Watch the coward flee Leaves his people to die Climbing ever higher The maze within the mountain (Chorus) The young one watches him go She knows the path he takes She can follow in her mind The place where he will hide Into the mountains Is where the oracle flees To the ancient caves The endless labyrinth Hours turn into days Days turn into weeks Climbs ever higher Towards his salvation Comes to the doorway Opening into darkness Down into the abyss The ancient labyrinth (Repeat Bridge) The darkness surrounds him Solace in the silence The echo of his voice Endless in the void Time is all but lost Trapped in this solitude Consumed by the guilt Down into the black (Repeat Bridge) (Repeat Chorus)
4.
Truth 06:24
Born to darkness The girl has the gift Seeing past and future The girl has the sight Speaking in tongues Her mind is overrun Her body gives way As she weaves the tale (Chorus) The child knows the truth She has seen the place She will lead them there The vision is her gift (Bridge 1) She spins the tale The cowardice of the oracle They will follow her Into the labyrinth of death She has seen the truth Left them all to die She will lead them there (Bridge 2) Revenge will be theirs He will pay with his life The oracle must die The oracle must die Through the forest Over water and stone Up into the clouds She leads her people on To the precipice The mouth of the void Into the black maze She knows where he hides (Repeat Chorus)

Solitude 02:19
6.
Eternal 05:25
He's found his way here Threshold of the void Infinite tunnels of black Deep within the mountain Descending into darkness Binds itself to him Accepting his fate He's never coming back (Chorus) The last point of light fades away Deeper and deeper he crawls into the cave Let his people burn, this is his fate Eternal isolation in the maze Twisting through tunnels Damp cold of the stone He's found a safe refuge He’ll die here alone The memory of light Has all but faded away The last of his mind His sanity begins to fray (Repeat Chorus) (Bridge) Darkness binds his mind Trapped in this black cell He knows they're coming for him He knows his death draws near Deeper into the caves No place left to hide Madness takes hold Eternal isolation (Repeat Chorus)
7.
Vengeance 07:25
Only a handful remain They place their faith in her A child with the gift Her vision has lead them to The place where he hides Deep within the mountain (Chorus) Beyond the clouds He’s left his people behind They will have their vengeance The few that remain Have followed behind The girl who promised vengeance Wandering the maze Deeper and deeper he goes He knows what fate awaits him In his mind’s eye He sees what comes The child has found him (Repeat Chorus) (Part II) Descending into black Closing in on him Deeper into the caves The child leads them on They see their prey Animal trapped in a cage Begging for his life The child asks him “why?” He does not answer Looks away in shame Turns to face the void He knows what he must do Inching towards the edge The child sees his intent She says he is forgiven But it's too late
8.
Gazing down the chasm Watches the oracle fall Feels her heart break She hears the darkness call Voice of the ancient Echoing in her mind Whispering of the past Warning of what comes (Chorus) Shadows speak to her Voices from beyond Guiding her thoughts Images in her mind Born under a dark moon Now her fate is sealed Reanimated by flame Heiress of the night Ritual of flame Cast her body down Radiant lights rises From where she once laid Rising from the pyre Being from beyond Daughter of the darkness She leads her people on (Middle Part) I am timeless I am the soil I swirl through the air I lurk beneath the sea I have chosen you I give you the vision I bestow upon you The past and the future I am eternal I am the night I weave into your thoughts I guide you back to me Join me in the darkness We shall rule forever More powerful than all before Your fate is now sealed (Repeat Chorus x2)

about

A concept album that spins an epic story about cowardice, betrayal, relentless pursuit, and vengeance. A village oracle makes a deal with a dark, supernatural power and when he can't keep up his end of the bargain, the dark power seeks him out... this one is pretty much a DnD adventure in song format, each song is a part of the story. Enjoy! \m/
